DIY Quinoa Milk


 Quinoa milk is rich in iron, minerals, protein and have a low glycemic index.

To make 1/2 L of milk, leave 1 glass of quinoa in water for 8 hours. Drain, then blend with 3 glasses of water, and strain 3 x!

Sesame Ginger Quinoa Salad

Enjoy this delicious and nutritious salad!

Ingredients

1 cup quinoa, rinsed
2 cups water
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups shelled frozen edamame
3 medium carrots, peeled and diced
1/2 yellow pepper, diced
1/2 red pepper, diced
1 cup red cabbage, chopped
2 tablespoons sesame oil
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
3 teaspoons fresh ginger, finely minced
1 tablespoon sesame seeds


Directions

  1. Place the quinoa, water, and salt in a covered pot. Heat on high until it boils, lower the heat to low, and cook for about 15 minutes or until the quinoa is soft and the water absorbed.
  2. Pour the quinoa into a medium-sized bowl, and mix in the frozen edamame, carrots, peppers, and cabbage.
  3. In a small bowl, make the dressing by mixing the sesame oil, rice vinegar, minced ginger, and sesame seeds.
  4. Pour the dressing over the quinoa and veggies, and mix thoroughly. Enjoy immediately, or store in a covered container for later

Detox popsicle to make at home!!!!!


 
 
That's right: a delicious and healthy popsicle can help you detoxify your body! Learn here how to make the recipe at home
The popsicle is rich in soluble and insoluble fiber, antioxidants and anti-infla...mmatory phytonutrients!!

Ingredients
• 2 sheets of organic kale (can be replaced by another dark green vegetable of your choice)
• 1 apple with peel (or 2 slices of pineaple)
• 1 carrot ( or a small beet)
• 3 tablespoons chopped mint (or parsley)
• 1 small piece of ginger
• 500 ml of coconut water (or white tea)

Beat all ingredients in a blender but don't strain to avoid losing fibers. Put in molds for popsicles and freeze.

The World Health Organization estimates that a prolonged exposure to arsenic of 5 years or more can cause serious side effects, like kidney failure, skin lesions, and various types of cancers

Carrot with ginger creamy and healthy soup!




Enjoy this delicious and powerful soup!

You will need:
 1 tablespoon of olive oil• 2 medium onions chopped• 8 medium carrots chopped• 1 teaspoon of sea salt• 1 liter and a half of vegetable broth• 1 liter of skimmed milk • 2 tablespoons of ginger peeled and chopped• 2 tablespoons chopped green onionsPreparation:

Cook the olive oil with the onion for 3 minutes. Add the carrots and stir continuously. Then add the vegetable broth , lower the fire and cook for another 20 minutes with the pan covered. When the carrot is fully cooked , turn off the fire and blend it with the milk slowly slowly. Remove, put in a pan, add the ginger and cook the soup for 5 more minutes . Serve with chopped chives and add salt to taste! Enjoy!
